Havana City: Capital of Cuba, with a population of more than 2 millions. It groups the main institutions of government, economy, science and culture. The November 16th, 1519 was officiated, under a ceiba tree, the first mass of the village, so this date was registered as the foundation day of the village. In its commemoration, in that place a small temple well-known as The Templete was erected. The people maintain the tradition of surrounds the ceiba tree on every anniversary of the city. |

Matanzas: This province is at one hour driving from Havana. Its capital, the Matanzas City, offers excellent views toward the sea and preserves many exponents of the colonial architecture. Cradle of famous poets and intellectuals, Matanzas is
well-known as "The Athens of Cuba". |

Pinar del Río: This province is toward the western end of the country. Because of its beautiful and conserved landscapes is named " The Garden of Cuba ". In it is located the famous Viñales Valley, grows the best black tobacco in the world, there are two of the four World Biosphere Reserves declared by the UNESCO in the country and the biggest cavern system of the whole Cuban archipelago. Its geography and nature are very attractive. The territory presents great quantity of streams and flowing of medicinal waters and two important mountainous groups: Sierra del Rosario and Sierra de Órganos. Pinar del Rio constitutes an ideal destination for excursions. |

Cienfuegos: Also well-known as "The South Pearl", this beautiful city was founded by the French in the XIX century around one of the most beautiful bays in the Island. Their architecture shows a neo-classicist style. The Martí Park is surrounded of remarkable buildings in the history of the city and samples the only Arch of Triumph in the country. The Terry Theatre and the Valle´s Palace are also symbols of Cienfuegos. In the city you can visit good museums and restaurants. The beaches and the mountains of the Sierra del Escambray are among the natural attractiveness of this province. |

Santa Clara: This province was founded in 1689. The Leoncio Vidal Park constitutes a symbol of the City, is one of the liveliest in the country. Santa Clara is also famous for the battle that gave the final blow to the Batista's government. This battle took place under the orders and command of Che (Ernesto Guevara). In Santa Clara rest, since 1997, his mortal remains, in a monument built in his honour since 1988. |

Trinidad: This city is categorized by the UNESCO as Humanity's Patrimony. The grade of conservation of the colonial architecture of the quiet streets and houses of brightly colours is very impressive. |

Camagüey: Was founded in 1515. This city has been characterized for its Neo-classical architecture and the irregular intricate streets. |

Ciego de Ávila: The keys at the north of this province are its principal tourist attractiveness. Especially Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo, both keys present many Km of beautiful white sandy beaches and coconut palms, as well as an excellent tourist infrastructure. You can get Cayo Coco by air from some airports at the country (Ex: Havana Airport) or just driving from Ciego de Ávila around 1 hour. |

Santiago de Cuba: It is the second important Cuban City; cradle of the best rum in the island, of many of their main musical genres and of their most famous carnivals. It is also a city with a great history related with the independence fights of the Cubans. |
